Class It Up With D Lawless Hardware

check out my entry in the August Fab Furniture Flippin Contest, the theme is Class it up and I think this dresser was just that.. from shab to fab with paint and new hardware
here it is, all finished wood 5 drawer dresser with the fabulous vintage look label pulls painted in a classic navy color and finished in black wax
but here is what it looked like when I got it.. sadly tossed around during a move, the dresser is nice wood with safety stop drawers and a wall attaching kit, perfect for a kids room
first step of the process was to remove drawers, filler was added to damaged drawers and top and sanding was done to bring it back to a functional dresser, then it was scrubbed down fully and left to dry
next step is to paint with a coat of navy paint in a textured finish followed by black wax to give it a classic appeal
I am just loving this vintage hardware .. perfect to help little ones organize their drawers and learn to read or give a classic vintage look for adults
