Donna Gill on Aug 21, 2013Hi there. Nicotiana has 5, but it looks so similar. My basic searches aren't bringing it up. Is it blooming in CT right now? Size? Perennial or you don't know? Sun/pt. sun or shade. Could you back off, take one of the full plant, and then a closeup of leaves? Thanks!Helpful Reply

Vicky Thompson on Aug 22, 2013You might have better luck posting a pic of the whole plant and the foliage as well. How tall is it?Helpful Reply

360 Sod (Donna Dixson) on Aug 22, 2013It would definitely speed it up @Vicky Thompson ! I shared this with a Plant FB group, and one response was that the bloom reminded him of a Kalanchoe. A picture of the leaves would either help confirm or not :)Helpful Reply

Taryn on Aug 23, 2013It does look like kalanchoe from what I can see of the stem and the leaves. Very easy to grow if you just a few cuttings. Stick em in the ground and they take off.Helpful Reply

Catherine on Aug 25, 2013This plant is an annual called nicotiana. It can grow from 1 ~ 2 feet tall. They have beautiful sweet scented flowers that come in a variety of colors. The leaves are soft like petunias, and unlike petunias, do not trail. You will not be sorry you grew these! They are one of my favorite plants and can easily be started by seed in the spring. Good luck!! :-)Helpful Reply
