I buy my onions in a mesh bag & just hang them from a hook on the wall at the end of my kitchen counter but it's easy to customize bags using mesh netting from the fabric store or upcycled from kid's Halloween costumes. Ballerina costumes use a lot of it. In the winter I buy mesh bags of oranges & save the bags.
