How to repaint this bed frame?

Hi, I have a baby bed and I would like to paint it white, what paint should I use? And do I have to remove the glossy coat first? Or I can start painting directly?? Thank you!!!

The finish must be sanding off first or the paint will not adhere. Use a primer first allowing to dry and then paint.

Wash. Sand. Wipe. Prime. Paint. Or use primer & paint combined. Seal. A lot of paint project are discussed on the forum, just look around some or search.

If baby will be using the crib, be sure you use the correct paint...I know some paints are not good for baby cribs. Babies like to put their mouth on the top of the crib, which is the reason for using the paint with the right ingredients.
