Monarch Caterpillars

If we hadn't dug these plants *Swamp Milkweed " these little guys would have been mowed off. 2 were eggs we found on leaves and the other 2 were on the flowers of the milkweed. We went by the same area along side a country road where these plants were and they all were mowed down. No wonder we have a shortage of Monarchs

    These are not worms, they will turn into beautiful Monarch Butterflies

    You are so lucky to have these caterpillars. I planted Milkweed long ago and for the first three or four years, I had many caterpillars that I got to beautiful Monarch butterflies. For the past three years now, I have gotten nothing. No butterflies, no eggs, no caterpillars. I am so sad.
