Before & After: Light Layers in a Kitchen

Check out how adding different layers of light to this space makes it more dramatic and functional!
Here's the kitchen with one recessed can lighting the area over the sink.
Here we illuminate the ceiling with recessed cans.
Xenon under cabinet lights make excellent task lights.
On come the pendants for decorative and general lighting.
Finally, some microfluorescent fixtures above the cabinets make that ceiling look higher, and add to the general light level in the room.

I love a lot of light in a kitchen. Looks great.

Looks great, did you hire an electrician? I seem to have trouble getting wires up through the walls so they don't show.
