Today I’m sharing something sweet, simple, and pretty with you, that I put together last week and that I’m just really enjoying.
[Hey! Do you love printables as much as I do?! Check out this great collection of My Favorite Fall Printables!]
All it is: Painted dollar store pumpkins and some milk glass I found at the thrift store the other day.
I found all of these pieces of milk glass on one trip, except for the low bowl on the far left. It was on my second pass of an aisle, that I happened to spot one piece, then suddenly there was another and another.
I started out spraying these little guys in a gloss white that was really kind of terrible. I didn’t think you could screw up painting pumpkins! Instead of looking all happy and creamy, they looked really stark and cold, and with the bit of orange still showing through, kind of dirty.
Click the below link to find out all off the details for creating these beautiful, and cost-effective pumpkins.... including what type of paint I ended up using! Isn't it amazing with what you can do with a few bucks?!
