Vintage Desk Makeover
My husband and I have a small boutique business and two people working from one desk is impossible. I resolved the problem by making over his tired and retired old 1960's childhood desk mine only after a complete makeover. I invested about $60 and about 3 days of spare-time work painting. I painted the desk bright white, the hardware black, and had a piece of 1/4 inch glass for the top. I also cut a piece of hounds tooth wrapping paper to fit under the glass and reupholstered the chair in hounds tooth fabric.
We are happy and more productive now.
