Mobile Home: Removing carpet left up against walls.

We have removed the carpet it most of the mobile home, but don't know how to get rid of the (about one inch) of carpet left right up next to the walls where the walls sit on the carpet. Any ideas or tools that will get the job done so we can finish laying new floors?

We were never able to get it all, so we just went as close as we could and put up wider base and added shoe moulding at the at the bottom.
