Dual use of office/ guest room when needed. We needed a sofa bed for extra guest, so I decided to go girly purple, since this is my space.
Purple sofa bed & crate rolling ottoman
The purple sofa bed is from Wayfair, it came with the large white and purple pillows. I had the smaller lilac & beaded pillows. The drapes matched pretty well from Bed Bath and Beyond. I wanted a purple scarf. They did not have a matching one, so I made one from two purple sheer curtains on sale. I used a rubber band to attach them which makes a flower and just draped it over the curtain rods and drapes.
Close up of small lilac pillow
I had made these pillows which had been in my living room before. The corners each have a small beaded piece to add some blink.
Old picture frame
I had two of these framed wood picture frames. I do not need them in this house. So I re-made one of them into the next picture.
Framed fabric wall art
I just taped the fabric to the back board of the frame and hung it over the new sofa bed. I did cut out two more birds to add to the fabric before placing into the glass frame.
Ottoman table re-painted
I had the milk crates which I re-painted and placed the new re- covered pillow top for the ottoman cushion on top. It has storage and can be a rolling table as well.
Table and matching coaster
Here you see the table part, with a metal quart paint can lid coaster. Just cut the fabric to size and use spray adhesive. Simple yet functional.
Desk decorations
I had an older desk blotter, which I simply taped the matching fabric on. I used one of the quart paint cans I had for pens and desk items. Again using spray adhesive to the can and then I applied the cut fabric & purple ribbon to the top to finish my pen holder. Lastly I hold onto shopping receipts for a few months in case I need to return something. I save pretty holiday card fronts, for projects at some point. I found a pretty card primarily with purple which I cut for size. I covered the box with purple tissue paper. I sprayed the card with the adhesive and placed on the front of the box. I added the same purple ribbon with craft glue to finish the box. You can also see the second fabric lid coaster.
