    I have a LOT of this faux (fake) stuff too. My long, narrow living room and dining room.... can't wait to paint over it. I was just going to sand a tiny bit and paint over mine with Kilz Original Primer. Is it really necessary to do all that sanding? (UGH). And my faux paneling is not even like yours either... double ugh.
