Kitchen Flooring: Wood VS. Tile
by

(IC: professional)
For kitchen flooring, durability and ease of cleaning are top criteria and the top choices amongst our kitchen remodeling clients have always been: Wood or Tile. We'd love to hear your point of view about where your loyalties lie in the kitchen flooring wars: Wood or Tile?
-TILE is easy to maintain and available in a huge range, they offer superior durability, resisting most dents, dings and scratches. It can also be cold in winter and slippery when wet.
-WOOD can add a great deal of 'homeyness' to the kitchen. Wood is also good at coping with the high traffic volume but can be scratched or damaged.

Juliya Sav on Nov 25, 2015if you spend actually cook in your kitchen...i wood not recommend wood. i had wood in my kitchen for many years...honestly grease stains and various spills gave the wood floors an old worn look, that was just not attractive. i have had tile in my kitchen for the past 5 years and it still looks brand new.
