Build-A-Monster Blocks for Halloween and Beyond

by Jonathan Fong
Although we may not have played with blocks since we were babies, these fun blocks with different monster heads, bodies and legs to mix and match are fun for kids of all ages.
These blocks have six monster faces, six monster bodies, and six monster legs to mix and match.
Just three blocks can make countless combinations.
I drew all these myself with Adobe Illustrator, and the graphics are available for free download on my web post.
I printed the images on sheets of Wood Attitude printable film. This is a film that lets you apply any image to any surface.
I cut out the individual squares, and then sprayed some spray adhesive on the ink side of the film.
I placed the squares on the blocks ink side down and peeled off the protective backing. I bought the 2" blocks at woodcrafter.com.
