How to Make a Wheat Wreath

I love the natural look of wheat for the fall. The soft colors are so soothing! And this one is so simple and can be made in just a few minutes!
A simple wreath that is perfect for your front door to welcome guests or that can be hung from a mirror in your house.
The supplies you need are: 1 straw wreath form, 3 bundles of wheat, scissors and burlap ribbon.
Cut the wheat stems to about 6 inches long.
Insert the wheat into the form about 4 in a row. You could use hot glue to attach them more securely.
Continue to add wheat one row at a time until the form is full.
Finish the wreath with a big burlap bow!

JUDY S - BEYOND THE BLUE SHUTTERS on Oct 19, 2013Great info. How did you make the bow? I had a $6 clearance wheat wreath for several years. Now I can attempt to make another.
