Farmhouse Nightstand Makeover

One day while shopping at Anthropologie, I found these really cute drawer pulls in the clearance bin. Usually priced about $15 each, they were marked down to $2.99. I thought they would be perfect for updating a set of old nightstands that I have.
Here is what the nightstands looked like before. Really outdated, cringe-worthy, orange wood tone. The drawer pulls really inspired me to finally do something about them.
I first painted them with a gray chalk paint. Once that had dried, I used a dark colored wax over the paint to give it a reclaimed/rustic wood finish. I used wood filler to fill the holes left by the original pulls, because the new pulls only required one nail hole in the center of the drawer.
I drilled the hole center and attached the new pulls. I love how the paint finish turned out and the new pulls really stand out against the faux wood finish!
