Kitchen Island

We made our island using base cabinets from Cabinets to Go. We added wheels and had a granite top made for it. We use it for storage, food prep and as a buffet table when we all our family over for dinner.

Construction costs and details please. :Thickness and size of granite? Did the fabricator install it? Was it a remnant or custom cut? Also, what kind and size wheels for the weight of the island? (Do you move it very often?) Thanks!

I'll be starting the same project..using bottom cabinets as well...how did you join them together? What type of wheels did you use & type of adhesive did you use to attach the granite?

Thank you all for your comments. Marie, the cutting board is from Ikea. I use it every day and love it.
