#Thanksgiving Thankful Banner #GiveThanks

I like to decorate for the seasons, but try to be thrifty when doing so. So, to decorate for this year, I used an idea I found on Pinterest -- a Thankful Banner. I traced a real leaf (from the backyard), cut out paper leaves and strung them on twine across the fireplace. My kids and I then wrote on each leaf what we are thankful for. (One child wrote "school," while the other wrote "weekends," LOL.) My children enjoyed the project, and we love how the thankful banner looks in our home!
