How can I paint my daybed?

I would like to make a stencil of a floral design on my new daybed cover so it can be transferred onto a solid Roman top down, bottom up shade in the same room.
What would be my best procedure to do so. I would love to paint a section of this design onto the solid shade.

If the fabric cover is removable, You can use carbon paper under the flower pattern and trace it over some paper. Use a pen, not engaged, over the pattern. You don't want ink on the fabric. You can also use a dull skewer stick, knitting needle or similar to trace. Then use the paper pattern, carbon paper, and trace the pattern onto the shade. If the fabric is not removable, use tracing paper over the pattern and copy the pattern onto the tracing paper. Then use the tracing paper, carbon paper, and trace the pattern onto the shade.

Thanks so much for your response! I was also thinking of doing it that way but was hoping for some "high tech" method of taking a photo, enlarging the section of design I want to copy and projecting onto the shade (not a smooth fabric unfortunately) I am also laughing about the use of carbon paper. Not too many folks these days even know what that is, let alone have any "lurking" in a supply cabinet as I have. LOL
