This tutorial will show you how to do a complete water change, and how to clean filters and the surface of the hot tub. I have created a video to show you how to do this but before you watch the video read the following steps so you are ready to go when it's time to clean your hot tub.
Before you start make sure to pick a time when you have a couple days in a row well above the freezing mark. The power to the hot tub has to be shut off which leaves pipes at risk of freezing.
You need to purchase a good filter cleaner from the pool or hardware store.
Before you start to empty the tub make sure to shut the tub off at the disconnect and lock it in the off position for the duration of the hot tub cleaning. Turning on the hot tub with low water levels cause damage to the pumps. Also running the tub with no filters installed leaves the pump unprotected against larger objects getting in.

The cleaning task it self is very simple but the timing and procedures is everything to make sure the job is done right and nothing gets damaged

Watch the video for the complete tutorial.
