Is the furniture just stained? And what exactly do you need to repair?
strip the furniture of all fabric and padding. treat for mold and mildew. let it dry out slowly. the frame may warp if dried to quickly. wood pieces can absorb a lot of water. be patient. decide what is worth keeping when all is completely dried out. use the old fabric as a pattern for the new coverings. not everthing will resume it's former shape or glory. the really good pieces send out to a pro for refinishing.
my mom was living in des moines Iowa in 93 when when the rivers flooded. 2 ft + of water in the basement. some items were salvageable, lot more not d.t. the mold and mildew.

How to remove and repair flood and mold damaged wood legs on furniture
I'm definitely not a germaphobe but flood water is full of nasty things, so almost everything will need to be thrown away. If keeping to use as a pattern for upholstery, wash in heavy bleach water. Plastic gloves, plastic gloves, plastic gloves. Contact the Red Cross for good flood repair advice. My heart goes out to you.
I should have been more specific..im learning. It was furnitue from a sale that had water damage. I used some Finish Rejuvenator on some and stripped some. The Rejuvenator saved a lot. If you ever need it its online. www.thevictorianhouseproducts.com
