Ever take a great dish to a potluck only to have it get cold? I'm sharing my secret tip. It costs under $12 and you can use it over and over again.
You're taking this delicious dish to a potluck or covered dish dinner. But, after it sits out before the meal it turns to a cold mess.
Or these delicious rolls. No way to keep them warm for more than a few minutes, right?
Even if you brought your dish in one of these handy carriers, there's always someone who is trying to be "helpful" and takes all the dishes out too soon. Again, cold mess.
Here's my secret. I pull the hot pack out of the casserole carrier and sit it under the dish on the buffet table. No one sees it and your food stays warm while everyone else's turns into a cold mess.
For rolls, or anything light, you can slip the hot pack in a basket and then line it with pretty towels or napkins.
Now you're the star! Rake in the compliments!
