I don't make them. I buy them from Amazon. They are very inexpensive and lots different styles to choose from.
try using old sweaters or small rugs from the dollar store.
You can find an incredible amount of crazy good fabrics from clothes at a thrift store. I always scout the 99 cent racks for potential fabric and trim for all kinds of sewing projects. Plus sized ladies dresses, especially blue jean jumpers, provide quite a bit of fabric, but sometimes I even see marked down leather jackets that have some small blemish on them...they make perfect leather pillows or leather trim! On a good day you can make 2-3 pillow covers for no more than $3!
