Can you post a photo? What is the main color of your home? What color is your roof? What color do you like? Do you want to make a statement or blend in? It is just paint, if it turns out you do not care for the color you choose, you can always paint over. Mine is a teal / green color and faces west and is looking tired, I am thinking something blue for mine to make it pop.

Paint it red and put something like a water feature or plant next to it. Gold door knob and knocker (if you have one) Use a welcome mat that complements the color.
