My daughter wanted a stone birdhouse so I decided to make her one for her Birthday :) Sorry these aren't step by step photos but, I will give you step by step instructions.
I found this birdhouse at Goodwill. Pretty horrible paint job huh?
I mixed up some Quikcrete (concrete patch) and applied it to the birdhouse. I pressed the stones into the Quikcrete before it dried.
I did one side at a time and waited for it to dry before I moved on to the next side.
I glued twigs from a bush in my yard to make the roof and fence around the bottom using E6000 glue. This was a slow process, as I had to glue a few twigs and wait for them to dry so they wouldn't slide around.
My finished birdhouse :)
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:
- Birdhouse (Goodwill)
- Quikcrete (Home Depot)
- Stones (Dollar Tree)
- Twigs (My yard)
- E6000 glue (WalMart)

Do you think you could use plaster of paris? I ask because I have all I need to do this at home. Thanks.
