In my teeny tiny kitchen, I stack them on a baking sheet and use the baking sheet as a "drawer" to gain easy access.

I had to look up what you meant by the "Tupperware" idea. I see it is a method of stacking that allows your bowl-within-a-bowl to display each bowl without losing much of it inside the other bowl. What about using a cut up big car-wash sponge or a cut pool noodle inside each one instead of tupperware?
I put paper towels between the bowls.
