The tops of my green onions are all falling over and week- help!

Hello Jerri; I use so many green onions in cooking, that I am constantly trimming them. I would suggest trimming the onions and using them in most savory dishes that you cook! I hope that this is of some help to you! Take Care.

Make sure you are watering them the correct amount, and trim the tops when they begin to get too long. That will help the plant put more effort into growing bulbs instead of green tops.

Hello Jerri, I recommend cutting them back quite a bit. Don't over water. Also, you may have crowded the sets when you planted them. If they don't perk up after you cut them back, Try thinning them out a bit. Start with pulling every other plant. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your suggestion. I did not plant close togethe. They are actually in my little flower bed and probably at least 3" apart
