When I was making my farmhouse table, I wanted to give it a really rustic feel, but I had no reclaimed wood lying around and wasn't really in the mood to go and search it out. I found other tutorials on how to stain would using vinegar and steel wool but didn't have the patience for that :) So, I decided to use what I had on hand, and turned a piece of plain pine from the lumber store into 'reclaimed' wood in minutes just using paint and stain!
