I have always been told that they bloom better when they are pot bound. Hello Carole, I recommend diluting a tablespoon of Epson salt in a gallon of water. Sprinkle it at the base of the plants and then water them real good. That will help the roots receive the salt. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
