You can always paint it and plant a flowering vine.
Time to repaint! Go to the opposite from what it was before. This might mean going to all white or all black, with bright red geraniums, switching to pansies for winter. And plastic flowers can substitute if you are not a gardener.
Or if you think your mailbox doesn't suit your place, paint everything the same color as the house, including any trim. Paint the mailbox door the same color as your front door--and that might mean painting both doors a new color!
