One of the joys of our work is creating ponds for homeowners and commercial businesses that are stocked with various pond fish -- especially beautiful koi. These orange beauties can be maintained in fairly small spaces.

Buster Evans on Feb 21, 2014I laid out screens over my "Kidney shaped" pond just before fall to prevent leaves from getting into the water .. it worked rather well . I uncovered the pond the other day and fed the goldfish who were enjoying a warm (70 degree) sunny day... The sun warmed the water enough that they became active enough to come up and eat and swim around a bit... they have all been down on the bottom of the pond during this cold weather, but all seem to have fared well through it!
