Carpet...Opinions please?

I need new flooring in my condo. Wood floors are to expensive. Vinyl floors may be the solution. I am tending to carpeting. Though I cannot see the reason to put wall to wall carpet. No one sees under the bed or other big pieces of furniture, I.e.
Couch, china closet etc. your opinions please. I already have area rugs which are OK but not the look I want. Opinions please?

vinyl plank is very attractive. You get the look of wood and the wear of vinyl
Vinyl plank is definitely a better choice over laminate flooring which is basically compressed cardboard with a veneer on top. Vinyl plank these days is very realistic looking and its basically waterproof . Also , if one gets nicked or scarred (off chance because its very durable ) its very easy to pull out the one plank and replace it .
ha ha ha your right but if you move or want to rearrange then what? I recommend getting a reminent from a carpeting store or if you wanna really add some flare see if they have samples
