There are many tutorials for making dishwashing soap on the internet. And they all use castile soap. But castile soap, if not used correctly, leaves a film on your dishes. I explain why that happens and how to avoid that pitfall in this post. You might ask, why make dishwashing soap when you can buy them at stores? Most of commercial dishwashing soap contain chemicals that I am not comfortable ingesting, like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), a foaming agent that many people are sensitive to.
