Metal Shed in back yard redo? Is it safe or doable?
-
Z on Feb 22, 2014I'd have to know more about the quality of the construction to answer this Serena. Can you share a couple photos of the inside and outside? We put up a small metal shed in our last homes backyard and it almost blew apart as we were building it and the wind wasn't even that bad. That was in the early nineties so the quality may not have been what it was in the 70's.Helpful Reply

Adrianne C on Feb 24, 2014You could if you add framing to support it.Helpful Reply

Serena Shields on Feb 24, 2014they are just those flimsy light weight tin ones from the late 70's. Only nice thing about them is them have concrete floors. Really just wanting to make them a little more user friendly.Helpful Reply

Melody M on Feb 25, 2014i also agree with the Becky and Serena, always be safe ... it sounds like a great ideal to double up on the framing....you can always add canopy around the edges later ..Helpful Reply
