Some old buttons are very collectible. Look on Ebay for values and sellers.
I have tons of buttons too :) They are really handy for a button replacement or to upgrade to a nicer button on a garment. I have seen tons of diy craft ideas for decorating anything and everything by gluing them on a surface. People love the look on everything from lamps to purses or dresser-draw fronts. Google it or use this site and search under "crafts", then sell what you make using them....craft fairs, ebay, church fund-raisers ...etc.
Or Make them into sets and sell them for re-use Or stick onto Lampshades or boxes etc..........
thank you for the suggestions
I know for sure if you ever have a yard sale jars or boxes of buttons will sell like hot cakes!
Decorate hats with them, or sweaters.
