Create a Chicken Wire Textured Look on Paper
I wanted to create a chicken wire impression on paper with out all the chicken wire commitment, if you know what I mean. By laying a piece of craft paper over a length of chicken wire and rubbing over the paper with an ink dye pad, it creates a frame-able, farmhouse style texture on paper.

Lay a piece of craft or butcher paper over a piece of chicken wire and rub with an ink dye pad. Other possible tools to use to create the imprint could be artist chalk.
Frame it up for decor or use for scrap booking or some other crafty project. It could also be used as wrapping paper, as well, or done in vintage farmhouse colors.
