    • Thank you - I had a house fire - mainly smoke damage - SeroPro came in and did the cleaning - I am sure they washed the walls and did not dry them and this is the result of their work - they ruined so much with their cleaning - leather furniture, brass items and now the walls and wooden furniture are growing mold - hopefully the ins. will take care of this matter or else I will have to try the method you suggested. Thank You Again -

Start with 1/2 cup Murphy's oil soap, with 1/2. cup of vinegar to a bucket of hot water about 2-3 gallons. Wash, rinse, dry completely, and see if the mildew comes back. You then need to remove the paneling, and find the source of the mildew.

I am sorry to hear what you went through. Have you photographed and documented what ServPro did? If you can do that and then present the with the evidence, you may be able to get help to finish what they started or money back. Good luck!
