The Best Closet Organization Trick Ever

Sure, organizing your closet sounds like a great idea. That is, until all of your clothes are on the floor, hangers are strewn everywhere and your closet is empty. If you’ve ever run out of steam halfway through a closet-organizing session, you know what we mean!
Getting your clothes under control can be a daunting task. Instead of ignoring the space and convincing yourself it’s “fine,” try this:
Set a timer for 20 minutes. Then, tackle one section of the closet – belts, shoes, lingerie, anything – for those 20 minutes. Play pump-up music (“Eye of the Tiger” always works).
Get serious about it. When the timer goes off, hands up! You’re done for the day.
Once a week, repeat the process. After a few sessions, your entire closet will be organized. Bonus: Now that you have a clear idea of your closet's inventory, making any storage upgrades will be much easier!
We recommend checking out the Container Store for some great tips when you're ready to start planning your next closet makeover.
