Great idea. Hope it takes off and grows!
hope someone around here will need some help! I’d love to be apart of this!
Awesome - hope you bring it to the suburbs of Chicago!
This is awesome! Im
no where near any of those places but I sure hope this is successful
Fantastic idea! Hope you can expand to Long Island
Cool! I'm game! I'd donate my time! Maybe some drinks, snacks. Electrical, plumbing, drywall, tile, flooring, replacement window install., weather stripping., trim work, painting, cabinet install, decking, etc. Supply the materials, I"ll supply my labor and instruction. Can even bring some of my tools. Chicagoland area!
Outstanding idea! I know it will be successful and once it takes hold, will expand. How exciting. 😆
I love this idea! I hope it is very successful and grows like crazy everywhere. Can you imagine people helping people with their DIY projects neighborhood by neighborhood all across the world in the name of Hometalk. I'm not in any of those areas but if it comes here, I'm in! And like William, I would donate my time. I'm more into crafting and painting then building but every bit counts. :)
Great idea and such a need out there for DIYers who have experience.
This is so awesome, what a fabulous idea! I'm really excited to see how this goes. I hope it takes off! I don't live in any of these areas but I sure hope it is successful!
I am willing to do it after I get done moving. Am moving close to columbus ohio. I am already a a hometalk helper. I will be done moving in about 3 weeks.
Love it!! A Hometalk Helper ready to help where I can!
I'm sad that I don't live near any of pilot areas. I would love to participate in this and do a trade for services like in the old days .
I would love to learn some things myself, in the woodworking arena and how to use electric saws, drills, etc. Tired of projects not being able to be completed because of my lack of knowledge.
I knew there would be nothing around here! I see Atlanta would give me an excuse to see my son!
Awesome idea,I would definitely help!!👍🏼😉
i would love to if any are in my area.
Do you have guidelines to follow? How do you set up a pay scale?
Do you think a community outreach group could start one locally? If so, would Hometalk be willing to help with how to set it up and guidelines to follow?
Awesome idea
