Layering Plates

I love the look of plates hung on the wall, but have limited wall space to work with in our home. After moving some things around in the kitchen I finally had a wall to work with. Over the years I have collected quite a few plates so I had a lot to choose from, but I couldn't decide which plates to use so I decided to layer them. This was so quick and easy to do. All you need is a little ribbon and plate hangers to fit your plates. You can find the complete "how to" on my blog.

Cynthia on Nov 16, 2014I love this, what a great idea! I would make a matching bow and let the ribbon hang out the bottom. The bow would attach where the plates are joined, this would be my centerpiece on the wall. Then I'd add in a pattern around this two or three small plates each group hanging on a straight line of matching ribbon. There are so many choices of patterns, choose one pleasing to your eye.
