How to Make a Wooden Serving Tray With Ticking Strips

I love chalky finish paint. This diy wooden serving tray showcases my love of the paint and ticking stripes. The perfect accent for my kitchen.
Once I stained the wood, I taped off my ticking stripes with painter's tape. Then used a foam brush for the chalky finish paint. Such a great look.
Crisp, bright stripes gave me the perfect look I was going for. I added some fun bun furniture feet. I wrapped the paint all the way around the edges.
My final touch was to put drawer pulls on each end. This piece is one of my favorite DIY projects. It is perfect in the center of my kitchen island.
