Use Salvaged Elements for a Unique Look

This project required a double sided screw and an old finial. The finial was once attached to a piece of furniture, but when I found the finial it was no longer attached to the original piece of furniture.
I found an old finial decided to use it to make a unique towel holder.
First I drilled a hole in the finial, then screwed one end of the screw in the finial, then screwed it into a stud.
It took about 5 minutes and now I have a place to put my towel and a conversation piece.
Here's a look at the clawfoot tub in the room. I thought the antique finial was in keeping with the remainder of the room.

I call my claw foot an olympic size of bathtubs . Your's appears to be in excelent condition. I wish I could say the same for mine. I agree the finial is in keeping with the bathtub and the era it is from. I also like the decorative table adding a touch of casual elegance. Plants, especially flowering plants, add so much to any room or place.
