Repurpose Raised Garden Bed-Animal Field
by
Teri
(IC: homeowner)
I no longer have goats anymore, so I now can plant inside the animal field. A empty dog kennel, a old pond liner, and a crib backing, with glass knobs on each side that is a shower curtain pole. This will now be my little garden and the deer can't get to it either.
The hay feeder on the side has seeds starting to come up.
I raise outdoor birds and no more goats on my mini farm,so Im able to plant inside the pen. I now have three cherry trees, blueberrys, and will have my little garden. Now that I don't have goats I do have to mow the field.

Douglas Hunt on Apr 17, 2014You probably miss your goats, but how nice to have things growing.

Jeanette S on Apr 17, 2014How great you are. The fence will keep the deer, etc. out. You would think that with our living 1 mile north of 285 in Atlanta (AKA Atlanta Speed Way because the traffic is so heavy and so fast) we would not have deer! They love red flowers! Just about the time things get growing good, your yard can suddenly look really strange! You would be surprised how spooky white petunias look standing alone in the moonlight (they take on a bright glow), and spaced too far apart because the deer ate the red and purple ones!
