Whimsical Woodland Tablescape for Spring
by

(IC: blogger)
Inspired by the whimsy of Beatrix Potter, I set a whimsical woodland tablescape filled with mossy goodness - the bunny, moss stones, baskets and balls. A Few ceramic birds and a few eggs in nests add to the theme of the tablescape.
The moss rabbit reminded me of Beatrix Potter's Peter frolicking through the woodland.
basketweave white dishes, embroidered napkins, burlap charger atop placemats with images of Beatrix Potter characters
the moss ball was made initially for another vignette - I loved making them and find them quite charmingly versatile.
I saved a few stumps and wood slices from getting our Christmas tree…they worked out beautifully for this tables cape
These lovely birds are part of a vase…love their charm
