Have you ever started to write on your white board only to realize that the marker your using is permanent? My kids did this too me not to long ago. I tried using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, but that just smeared the permanent marker rather than remove it. So I had to think of something else. The next thing I tried worked like a charm!
To remove permanent marker from a white board grab an Expo or dry erase board marker.
Use your dry erase marker and color completely over the permanent marker spot.
Grab a paper towel or dry rag and wipe away.
The Expo will remove the permanent marker.
See! Almost nothing left! Do it one more time to remove any remaining markings. This is a quick and easy solution for this problem. It works best if done right away.

Mothersyoungest on Jul 18, 2015I found this out by accident. Someone at work had used a permanent marker on dry erase and I grabbed a dry erase marker to just scribble over their mistake but to my surprise it began to take it off. So I can attest that this method does work.
