by

I've got a bunch of holes from nail polish storage racks that were screwed into the wall. What's the best way to fill them in?

The Krafty Krone on May 08, 2014I used joint compound to fill the holes in my walls then just a light sanding before painting. You can also use spackling.

Houseworks Unlimited, Inc. on May 10, 2014You didn't say if you were going to end up painting the complete wall once the repairs were made. If so , a couple of coats of joint compound would be best. Take a putty/joint knife and knock off the high spots first. For touch-up, take the handle side of your knife (or anything slightly rounded) and push each nail hole so it's not raised above wall surface. Then take a little spackle on you finger and hit each hole a couple of times. Wipe with a damp sponge after each application.
