Spoon Plant Markers

It's that time of year when the herbs in the garden are abundant. These plant markers made from spoons are a great way to make your garden even more beautiful. Use fine tip permanent markers to draw the design, then tear the paper around your design and ink the edges to distress. If you're not comfortable drawing the designs, tear out a picture from a seed packet. Use Diamond Glaze to attach the paper to the spoons. They will beautify your garden year after year!
Use a fine tip Sharpie to draw the design. Then add color. I like to use Bic Mark It markers.
Regular computer paper works just fine for this project
Adhere the paper to the spoons using Diamond Glaze. Give it a couple of coats on top of the paper to seal it.
These markers will last for years!

Amy Ogden-Paparone on May 12, 2014What a great idea, and I love the way they look! I have a bunch of mismatched spoons, and now I know what I'm going to do with them! Thanks so much for posting! :D
