Potted succulents are an easy and quick craft and they make great gifts! I potted a few succulents in mason jars for some friends, and the mason jar succulents were well received! My friends really liked them, and the succulents made a pretty centerpiece for our get together!
I added a pretty bow to each potted succulent to give the succulents a complete look. I think they look pretty festive. They make a nice centerpiece!
For my project, I purchased inexpensive succulents and some pretty green mason jars. I potted them with some potting soil. I added some pea gravel (left over from a recent project) to provide extra drainage for the plants.
I added a handful of pea gravel to each mason jar to provide extra drainage for the succulents.
I topped the pea gravel with a healthy layer of potting soil and added my succulents. Potting the succulents in the mason jars was really quite easy! (And fun!)
