Old Wicker Furniture Gets a New Life

This poor wicker furniture was not so wicker anymore. Just a metal frame and traces of wicker remained. I was determined to make it useful again. After some brainstorming I came up with an idea...
Here is the furniture in the state it was found.
After using rust block and black rustoleum spray paint, I went to work on making them usable. I cut some deck wood to size and use the one whole straps to attach them to the seat and back. These metal pieces can be found in the electrical section of the hardware store.
Here you can see the seats and back installed waiting for staining. A few bright color cushions and they are good as new!
