A Sunny Yellow Bench For The Front Yard
by
Abi Zimmerman
(IC: blogger)
Look what a difference a few coats of sunny yellow paint made!
I’ll admit it was time consuming since the light colored paint required several coats, but it wasn’t difficult. I started with a few minor repairs and give it a light sanding.
Then it was time to pick a color. This is where I usually second guess myself and end up with something neutral and safe (like I did HERE). But not this time. I was determined to add a bright, cheery pop of fun to my all-too-serious-looking house.
I can’t even tell you how happy I am with this project. You know when something turns out even better than you expected? And then people stop along the road in front of your house to tell you how much they like it? This is that project.
