    The next time someone wants to know a deer-proof plant, I'm going to suggest horseshoe-flower.

    Adorable! But with the deer around here, I would put my money on the deer eating them! HA! I don't have much in my yard for them to eat on this year, but they still come and lie on the soft day lily plants...I guess they are cool at night!

    These are awesome! We own a horse farm and I think these would be fabulous somewhere around the barns. Of course, we've got a farrier (who, no doubt, has lots of old horse shoes) and a boarder who does welding. I just sent this link to my daughter (our barn manager) with the question, "Where could we use some of these?!" Thanks for the inspiration!!!!
